Suzuki Sv650s Manual Signal Light
I have a 2003 suzuki sv650s my headlights won't work and my turn signals are on steady, when I turn on the blinkers though they blink like they should, but faster. Also the blue high beam lights display is on as is the green turn signal lights. There is a red wire coming from the bottom of my ignition area where I put in the key that is cut in half.
The bike starts and runs just no lights. All the fuses are good and when the bike is running and I hold the red wire back together nothing happens. 6966 Answers SOURCE: Hi and welcome to FixYa, Depending on the version, normally there would be two (2) relays for most Kawasakis that control the headlight(s). Often the hi-lo relays (with white connectors) would be behind the gauges. Again depending on the model, some would not have a headlight on/park/off but only hi-lo as the headlights automatically switch on when the engine is running. Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information.

I can't think of any other reason for the running lights and tail lights not working in this situation. Are your brake lights working when the headlights are off and how about when they are on? Do your four ways hazard lights work in these situations? Try all the lights under these conditions. The reason the left turn signal blinks very fast is because one of the bulbs are burned out. Try the left signal and one light (front or back) will stay on and the other will not come on at all.

Replace the bulb that does nothing. Do this before you try all the lights in different situations. I think that you will have to replace the light switch. Good luck with this. May 19, 2011.
This is most likely going to be an issue with a relay. The relay on the fords that is tied into the blinker module can go bad is it gets wet or over loaded. Are there any after market things added to your vehichle? This can also be caused by overloading part of your ECU if you have after market headlights, or headlights that carry too high a load.
When it blinks for 3-4 times and stops, does it blink faster than normal? This can be a sign of a false connection to the light itself. Such as having the wrong bulb in for the blinker. May 05, 2011.
