Worn packings in the unloader will not maintain pressure. Try lowering the pressure to 1000 psi then slowly increase until problem reveals then lower pressure again to maintain steady stream. This problem can also develop if the wrong size tip is used in the gun.
Example, if output rating is 3000 psi at 4.5 gal per min and you are using a tip for 3000 psi at 4 gpm. The unloader will release causing variance of pressure. 1 Answer SOURCE: OK here is the solution. There are six plastic vaules inside the pump if you have any mechanical skills you can fix this. These plastic valves melt when you leave your pressure washer running for a short period when you are not pressure washing.
Once this happens the pump becomes cloged and does not function. I spent alot of time and research on finding the parts for replacement. I called the main company of this washer pump and here is the toll free number 800-999-2245 and the web sight but to save time just call and talk to the service tech tell him you model number and he will give you the part number. I hold the trigger down as i pull this keeps the pressure down.
If this is not the problem then take a look at the Spark plug, Air Filter if all is fine then check the fuel. How often do you use it, fuel loses its Octane when sitting around.

This usually means at some point the ball and spring in your injector got stuck.typically people take them apart at the nipple to ry and fix it. Not realizing there is a small ball and spring in that nipple.

This is actually a ball valve to prevent water from coming out of the chemical injector nipple. Replace the ball and spring if needed as well as the oring seat in the nipple. Fill it with gas turn gas valve on and try starting it a few times with starting fluid to help rince/thin them out so gas can flow through them again. It may smoke more than usual for a while.
Dont keep it running on the starting fluid though as it has no lubrication for the cylinder/rings and could scar the cylinder walls. If that doesnt work you can remove it and try to do it manually with a can of carb cleaner or get a new carb. Most engines won't run with the choke on, so something was wrong. You can pull the head and the valves easy enough to see what it is.
